She is a childhood friend of Seed Kashima and the daughter of a dojo. As the daughter of a dojo, she is also quite skilled with a sword, and has been taught the secret technique "Mizuhara Wind Sword". She and Seed are mutually in love. However, due to her father's intention that only a strong person can marry Hazuki, she is almost forced to marry the strongest man in the dojo, Vilnas. In order to prove that he is the man worthy of Hazuki, Vilnas decides to participate in the Tougou tournament with Hazuki as his partner. If things go as planned, Hazuki will end up marrying Vilnas, but the protagonist, who does not approve of this, aims to win the Tougou tournament to prove that he is the one worthy of Hazuki. Then, when Seed wins the final match of the Tougou tournament against Vilnas, Hazuki is finally able to be with Seed, but Seed soon goes missing due to the schemes of Aplos. In order to meet Seed again, Hazuki participates in the Tougou tournament alone and wins, allowing her to reunite with Seed and take action together.
