She is the second child born to the vampire Edwin Black and the Taimanin Shinganji Kaede, a loved and longed-for addition to their family. She is Shinganji Kurenai's younger sister. However, at the time of her birth, her mother Kaede was being held by the death lord Teutates, who implanted a factor in her and named her Felicia, raising her as such. Later, when her real father Edwin Black removed the factor, she regained her original self, which was meant to be named Bunka, but the backlash was significant, and she fell into a deep sleep. When she awoke, her body had grown significantly, as if to make up for the time the factor had suppressed her. Although she had been living as Felicia for a long time, her original soul, filled with the love of her parents, remained pure, kind, and gentle, and did not become corrupted, even when Felicia was being violent. However, due to the factor's restraint, her emotional growth was stunted, and the cruel acts she committed as Felicia have become a trauma, causing her to unconsciously seal away her memories, resulting in some of her knowledge and memories being inconsistent, and she sometimes behaves in a childish manner. She loves her older sister Kurenai and, now that she has finally met her real father and he is gone, she is spoiled and clingy towards Kurenai.
