She is a student Taimanin who uses the stealth technique Anshin. She employs a ninja art that creates a pitch-black star on the back of her hand, stealing and absorbing light. Volunteering for dangerous missions and fighting on the front lines in a battle-crazy style has earned her the nickname "Blood-Battle Jigokumaru." She has a unique aesthetic, believing that "strong equals cool," and places coolness above all else. Her desire to volunteer for perilous missions comes from a self-destructive yearning to die in style—a severe case of chūnibyō. Yet, despite her eccentric behavior, she observes proper etiquette and is admired by friends and juniors. She is both a Taimanin and the daughter of the head of the Jigokumaru school of Ikebana. In summer, when she had to wear a swimsuit, she agonized over "what kind of swimsuit is cool." Competitive-swim suits resembled Taimanin gear, while frilly swimsuits emphasized femininity too much to be cool. After much trial and error, she settled on a simple yet eye-catching bikini paired with a tough jacket, a thick belt bearing her beloved sword, and sandals chosen for mobility.
