Marie is a princess of the Dradria clan who lives in the Demon Realm's mining region. Her true name is Anna-Marie Lintvorm. Dradria are descendants of earth dragons without wings, retaining only tails and horns. Though shorter than other demons, many possess a well-built physique. They have lost dragon strengths such as fangs, claws, and breath, but having gained human limbs they excel at metalworking and machinery, seeing the shape of ancient earth dragons in their weapons. They treat each weapon as a proud extension of themselves, almost a soul, and superior arms translate directly into higher status and adulthood. Marie's keen eye for ore, precise fingertip skill, and free-wheeling, optimistic imagination make her a genius developer recognized by all… However, being spoiled and pampered turned her into a selfish, naïve recluse, and she was driven out into the world to grow into the next generation's leader. She met Fuuma Kotaro while surviving on odd jobs as a wandering handyman.
