Cygnus is a soldier serving in the United States Federation. Following in the footsteps of her patriot father—also a Federation soldier—she enlisted to protect the nation and its people. After losing a leg in combat and withdrawing from the front lines, she volunteered for prosthetic augmentation, determined to continue defending her country. In addition to her own cybernetic upgrade, she also volunteered to operate linked mechanical weaponry, achieving success in numerous anti-demon operations. The data, results, and dedication she contributed have dramatically increased the number of wounded soldiers opting for cybernetic restoration. Because she also supports the rehabilitated soldiers beyond combat, many look up to her, and she now leads a unit composed of those who have returned through augmentation. Inherited from her father, her fierce patriotism, comradeship, and strict, macho military philosophy have forged a highly patriotic and tightly-bonded squad. In battle she wields weapons that can transform into a sword, shield, or gun. She and her subordinates have come to Tokyo for joint exercises with the Taimanin.
