She is a Taimanin who wields the "Beast-Transformation Technique," borrowing and embodying animal powers - in her case, the eel's. She manipulates the slime secreted from her body to deflect attacks, then delivers crushing blows with her incredibly resilient and supple physique. Her elusive personality often has her speaking lazily, yet sometimes spitting out a sudden, potent poison. That poison is precise because she can read an opponent's true nature, earning her strong trust from the higher-ups. Her sharp tongue often makes subordinates keep their distance, but whether she knows it or not, she proudly calls herself "a beautiful, reliable older sister" and actively flirts with younger Taimanin. She prefers dark, cramped spaces, and on her days off she apparently lounges in bed, wrapped up like a burrito. No one really knows what she's thinking, but Naganuma Mitsuru will suddenly appear in a sexy Santa costume, laughing and saying "Don't you think I'm sexy?" - her expression resembling a carnivore about to pounce on its prey.
