She is a master of wind-release techniques. Her father, Momochi Toyo, was a senior ninja of the Igawa clan and was once called the strongest close-combat fighter in Igawa. From childhood she was drilled in combat by her father and wields the self-taught "Momochi style" swordsmanship. She was trained so she wouldn't be outdone by veterans such as Asagi and Akiyama Rinko, and her swordsmanship allows no rival. Because of that skill she has more confidence than anyone else in swordplay and can understand an opponent's emotions through battle. On the other hand, her father's harsh teachings left her knowing little of everyday life, and she keeps her distance from others. As a result she has no friends and remains very low-key. Her bearing gives the impression of a taciturn samurai, but she is actually inarticulate from never having spoken with peers. When troubled she goes silent, making her seem even more quiet, stoic, which she worries about internally. She is interested in sweet snacks, games, shopping and chatting—typical teenage-girl things—but having never made friends she is timid. Her goal is to one day play like a normal girl.
