She is a Taimanin of the Fuuma clan, a wood jutsu user who manipulates wood spirits. The wood spirits can possess inorganic objects, move freely, enhance weapons, and perform reconnaissance, all in response to her wishes. She has a gentle and kind personality, but can be very intimidating when angered. Her name, Kinu, means both silk and devil's wrath. The Izumo family is a renowned house within the Fuuma clan, having produced many excellent ninja. Kinu is one of them. She later married a fellow Fuuma Taimanin, Bunko, and gave birth to a daughter named Tsuru. She passed away a few years ago due to illness and is now deceased.
