He is the Dobashi family's chief retainer of the Fuuma Hachishin Nisha household, also known as "Gonza the Spear". He is a well-known Taimanin for his mastery of the spear. As the chief retainer, he has served the Nisha household for generations and is known as Nisha Gaiza's right-hand man. The position of chief retainer is a role that requires gathering the household and its followers, and is said to require more intelligence than combat strength, but Gonza is the complete opposite. He is a berserker who will point the tip of his spear at anyone without hesitation, as long as he is ordered to do so. He will kill even his own parents if commanded to do so, and those who know him believe this to be true.
