She is a Taimanin and the former leader of the Igawa family, serving as the chief elder and steward of the Igawa household. The Hatori family has long been a prestigious household that has served as the steward of the Igawa main family. Seishu is the mother of Igawa Senshu and her brother, making her Igawa Asagi's grandmother. She has been secretly manipulating events in Gosha to give the Igawa family control, forming alliances with the government and financial sectors to raise the Igawa clan to the most powerful Taimanin family. However, this has led to intense conflict with Igawa Asagi and Momochi Toyo. She is said to have died in a battle with Igawa Asagi. Seishu is a master of the "Yuho" ninja technique, which allows her to summon and utilize the power of the stars by taking special steps. Having served as a steward since Asagi's father's generation, she is estimated to be over 80 years old, but the power of "Yuho" has given her a remarkably youthful appearance.
